Apóyame!

Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page and joining us to support the lifesaving work of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)! This page is associated with the Hope & Healing for Gaza Art Benefit being held on April 13, 2024.

We're raising funds and awareness to support hope and healing in Gaza, and specifically to support Doctors Without Borders' response to the current crisis. Your donation will be put to work immediately to deliver urgent medical care.

The Event:

  • Saturday, April 13
  • Studio 501, California Building, Minneapolis, MN
  • Music, poetry, and art at Studio 501 in the California Building in NE Minneapolis, in support of ceasefire, hope, and healing for Gaza. Art pieces and baked goods will be for sale during the event, with all proceeds going directly to Doctors Without Borders. Live music and poetry readings will happen during the event. Full schedule coming soon.

More information on where donations go: Doctors Without Borders is an independent international organization that offers medical humanitarian assistance to people based solely on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation. Over the past five decades, Doctors Without Borders has grown from a group of a few hundred volunteers to an international movement, providing over 10 million medical consultations in more than 70 countries every year. MSF's core values of humanitarianism, independence, neutrality, and impartiality continue to drive their work in providing life-saving aid.

MSF teams have been working in Palestine since 1989 and continue to work in both Gaza and the West Bank during the current war with Israel. In Gaza, we provide medical care and support for a health system that urgently lacks both medical personnel and supplies, offering reconstructive surgery and comprehensive care for people suffering from burns and trauma as well as urgent humanitarian and medical aid amid Israel’s ongoing siege and bombardment. In the West Bank, we provide mental health care for people affected by violence and displacement, support for community health centers and emergency response, and basic health care through our clinics, in addition to support for Jenin Hospital.

Thank you for your support and for getting involved. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated! (and it's tax-deductible!)
