MSF and Yemeni medical staff provide emergency care for wounded patients and staff following a Saudi-led coalition airstrike on the MSF clinic in Taiz, December 2015

Salaam Alaikum,

As part of the 9th Annual HUMA (Harvard University Muslim Alumni) Dinner, we are raising funds for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in their efforts to ease the suffering of our brothers and sisters in Yemen. This year's keynote speaker,  Professor Shireen Al-Adeimi, will speak on the plight of the Yemeni people and it behooves us to support aid to those in need.

MSF is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in more than 70 countries whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters.

HUMA is raising funds to support MSF's response to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen.  Your donation will be put to work immediately to deliver urgent medical care including treatment for malnutrition, emergency surgery, and lifesaving vaccinations.

Jazakallah Khair for your support and for getting involved. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated (and Tax deductible!)! We urge you to give generously and to share this fundraiser with others.

Wasalam,
