Fundraising for Doctors Without Borders is a great way to bring your community together while helping provide medical care to those who need it most.
There are countless ways to host a fundraiser that’s the perfect fit for your imagination and your community such as bake-offs, house parties, and movie screenings.
At Doctors Without Borders, more than 80% of our doctors, nurses, and logisticians work in their home countries and local communities. Your fundraising efforts help us train health workers in several countries and invest in local health infrastructure to meet healthcare needs in a more sustainable, community-driven way.
Examples of the impact you can make:
$500 raised = 2 treatments to cure patients of Hepatitis C
$2,000 raised = 2 C-section kits to provide our doctors and nurses the instruments needed to perform uncomplicated Caesarean sections for patients in childbirth
$5,000 raised = 3 multipurpose tents for use such as a hospital, feeding center, or dispensary fitting 12 people
