Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page, and joining us to support the lifesaving mission of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)!.

On June 23rd, my friend Doug and I will be hiking a 100 mile section of the Big SEKI loop trail in Sequoia & Kings Canyon Nation Park in Central California over the course of 1 week. At an average of 15miles a day over what is considered strenuous terrain, we will also be including the Whitney Portal Trail which leads to the summit of Mount Whitney. Mount Whitney is the highest peak (4418m) in the lower 48 states and marks the end of the famous John Muir Trail. While we have begun preparing for our hike, we thought it would be nice to also collect sponsored donations towards Doctors Without Borders with 100% of the donated proceeds going directly to the organization.

About Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in some 60 countries whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters.

We're raising funds and awareness to support its response to emergencies around the world.  Your donation will be put to work immediately to deliver urgent medical care including treatment for malnutrition, emergency surgery, and lifesaving vaccinations for people around the world.

Thank you for your support and for getting involved. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated (and Tax deductible!)!  You can learn more about its work by visiting www.doctorswithoutborders.org.
