I’m walking in Spain to save lives – with your help!
Dear Friends,
Hippocrates said, “Walking is man’s best medicine.”
I’m taking that to heart by returning to Spain this fall to walk the Camino de Santiago with the goal of raising $20K to help Doctors Without Border save lives around the world.
With your help, and by reaching this goal, we can immediately:
- Provide clean drinking water with water sanitation kits for 40,000 people
- Deliver 90,800 polio vaccines to communities in need
- Cure 500 people of tuberculosis
- Equip doctors and nurses with 120 delivery kits to safely deliver newborns
The first step? Your donation, in whatever amount you can. It’s tax deductible, and every bit helps!
If you are a blue badged Cisco employee, please donate to my Giving Opportunity in the Cisco Community Impact Portal https://benevityapp.page.link/9zdzaZGScigoPRk56, and Cisco will automatically match your donation. I will also match the first USD $1,000 donated to my Opportunity.
When donating, in the "Leave a Comment" box, please check the box add 'This donation match is for Keith Ridgway's "Walking (the Camino) is the best medicine". This will help ensure the donation and match are credited to this fundraising page.
If you’d like to give, please donate via the DWB’s website, and know that 100% of your donation goes directly to Doctors Without Borders.
Doctors Without Borders is an independent international organization that delivers urgent medical care. They go where others can’t go or won’t.
Last spring, I created my first fundraiser in support of their lifesaving mission, and walked 130 miles from Ponferrada to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. You were with me every step of the way and together we raised nearly $17K for Doctors Without Borders. Thank you!
Thank you for supporting me in this walk and helping change the destiny of those people who need medical assistance across the globe. I so appreciate you going on this journey with me!
Yours in service,
Keith
