Help US raise $8,000 for people in need around the world!

Dear Friends,

Thank you for visiting the Pilgrims' Plunge Thanksgiving 2021 fundraising page, and for joining us to support the lifesaving mission of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). This initiative is coordinated by Natalie Corwin, and Laura Saiz.

The Pilgrims' Plunge Thanksgiving 2021 has the objective of raising funds by asking participants to plunge into the sea in Hull, MA, at Nantasket Beach (north side by the last bath house on Hull Shore Dr), just a 30-minute drive from Boston. The Plunge will take place at 12:00pm on Thursday, November 25th. Each participant plunging into the cold water needs to raise $50 or more to participate. Donations are accepted up to 12/31/2021. In addition, a $50+ donation by the 24th allows the donor to participate in the gift card raffle (consisting of donations given by our generous local businesses, 1 prize per winner. Family members of organizers do not qualify). Come and plunge with us or sponsor a friend or any other participant. All donations of any amount are welcome. Our goal is to raise $8,000 or more.

The Pilgrims' Plunge Thanksgiving 2021 offers the opportunity of doing something 'festively heroic' - jumping into the freezing cold Atlantic ocean for a few seconds on Thanksgiving Day - in order to raise funds for an organization that performs acts of heroism daily.

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that provides aid to people in some 60 countries whose survival is threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or natural disasters. We are raising funds and awareness to support its response to emergencies around the world. Your donation will be put to work immediately to deliver urgent medical care including treatment for malnutrition, emergency surgery, and lifesaving vaccinations for people around the world.
